Draped in Fall Light: Katie & Mark’s Celebration at  Grand Lady Austin

Katie and Mark’s October 2024 celebration at The Grand Lady Austin proved that perfect timing isn’t everything — but perfect design might be. With ivory draping, glowing florals, and a breathtaking hall installation, their wedding transformed the evening into pure magic.

The bridesmaids, in emerald, teal and sage, toasted the morning from the clawfoot tub in the mansion's green-tiled bathroom. At dusk, Katie stepped out of the glowing mansion doorway and down the aisle on the ceremony lawn while guests lined the way. Cocktail hour happened under string lights in the courtyard. Then everyone moved into the reception hall, where ivory fabric swept across the ceiling with greenery and hanging white flowers, around a round sage bar and a checkered dance floor. The Little Wedding Band played, Crave Catering fed everyone, and the night ended with a sparkler exit.
