Golden Hour in the Garden, a Wedding Full of Art & Light

For Janie and Steve, The Grand Lady Austin became an artist’s canvas in May 2025. Grand Lady Floral created a breathtaking pressed flower installation, framing their ceremony in color and light. As the sun set, their garden portraits glowed with the same beauty and joy.

Steve and his groomsmen, in sage and gray, took advantage of one of the many photogenic spots on the property, and Janie wore an off-the-shoulder ballgown. On the ceremony lawn, two white panels of pressed flowers framed their vows, with baskets of blooms along the aisle. Cocktail hour was in the courtyard. Inside the reception hall, purple, blue and yellow flowers hung overhead, Austin Catering served dinner, and dessert was cookie cake and ice cream sandwiches before a packed dance floor.
